Frauenberg is more than just accommodation. It is a house that has stood in its place for centuries and naturally combines the history of Banská Štiavnica with modern comfort.
It is located just a few steps from the New Castle, in a part of the city where the life of artisans, merchants, and miners once pulsed. Today, you will find peace, space, and views that will draw you into the city's atmosphere.

Development of the house and its surroundings
According to its architectural elements, the oldest parts of the house date back to the 16th century. The neighbouring building – today's Frauenberg (originally a chapel) – was also built during this period, significantly influencing the character of the entire area.
The house was built on an important city thoroughfare at a time when the defence system of Banská Štiavnica was being constructed.
