Frauenberg Villa

These accommodation rules regulate the conditions of stay at Villa Frauenberg and help ensure a pleasant, peaceful, and comfortable stay for all guests.

Villa Frauenberg is a peaceful accommodation designed for relaxation in the historic part of Banská Štiavnica. We ask guests to respect the nature of the place and be considerate towards other guests, the villa's premises, and its surroundings.

Arrival and Departure

Check-in: from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

We kindly ask guests to inform us in advance of their estimated arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking or contact us directly.

Check-in is simple and, by arrangement, also contactless. We will provide you with all necessary information before your arrival.

Check-out: no later than 10:30 AM.

Thank you for respecting this time, as it allows us to prepare the apartments for the next guests.

By arrangement, it is possible to request a late check-out until 12:00 PM for a fee of €15. This option depends on the apartment's occupancy and must be confirmed in advance.

Cancellation Policy and Payments

Cancellation and prepayment policies may vary depending on the chosen accommodation option. Please check them during booking to ensure you have the correct information for your specific reservation.

Accommodation payment is processed by the reservation system. Please prepare cash for any additional services and fees payable directly on-site.

The accommodation price includes a local tax of €1.69 per person.

Accommodation with Children

Accommodation is suitable for guests of all ages. Children can be accommodated at any age.

Children under 2.99 years stay for free.
Children aged 15 years and older are considered adults.

When booking, please indicate the number of children and their ages so that correct prices and accommodation options are displayed.

Cots

For children under 3 years, a cot is available upon request for a fee of €10 per stay. The fee is not included in the accommodation price and is paid separately during the stay.

This option is not available for Apartment 2 and for other apartments, it depends on current availability.

An extra bed is only possible in selected apartments and by prior arrangement.

Age Restriction

Guests of all ages are welcome. The accommodation has no age restriction.

Pets

Villa Frauenberg is a pet-friendly accommodation. Stays with dogs are possible by arrangement for a fee of €10 / night / dog. The fee is not included in the accommodation price and is paid separately during the stay.

We ask guests to announce their stay with a dog in advance.

When staying with a four-legged pet, please maintain cleanliness both inside and outside the accommodation. After a walk, we recommend wiping your dog's paws to maintain tidiness and a pleasant environment for all guests.

Smoking

Smoking is not allowed in the apartments or within the building's premises, including electronic cigarettes.

Smoking is only permitted in outdoor areas. Thank you for respecting this rule.

Quiet Hours

Quiet hours must be observed from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. We kindly ask guests to be considerate of other residents and the surroundings.

We also ask for quieter movement in common areas, especially in corridors and entrances, to ensure a pleasant stay for all guests.

Celebrations and Events

Organizing larger celebrations, parties, hen/stag parties, and similar events is not permitted directly in the apartments.

Smaller gatherings among accommodated guests are fine, but please respect other guests and quiet hours.

Furthermore, we ask that access to the accommodation be restricted to accommodated guests only.

If you are interested in a larger celebration, meeting, or other social event, Villa Frauenberg also offers renovated cafe premises that can be used for gatherings, celebrations, or smaller social events by arrangement.

Catering

We currently do not provide catering. In the future, we plan to add the option of breakfast or brunch to make your stay at Villa Frauenberg even more comfortable.

However, each apartment offers practical facilities for preparing dry, no-cook breakfasts. A coffee and tea service is available, allowing you to enjoy coffee or tea in your room in the morning.

In selected apartments, a kitchenette is also available for preparing simple meals.

Parking and Access

Parking is provided directly on the property in a closed courtyard and is included in the accommodation price. Each apartment is allocated one parking space.

During your stay, you will receive a gate remote control for convenient access to the courtyard.

Access to the upper floors is only via stairs, approximately 10 steps. We ask guests to consider this, especially when traveling with large luggage, small children, or limited mobility. Apartment 1 is located on the ground floor and is accessible without stairs.

Common Areas and Courtyard

The enclosed courtyard offers a pleasant space for relaxation during your stay. Guests will find seating, a small playground, and climbing equipment here. This area is particularly appreciated by families with children during longer stays.

A small children's corner is located in the entrance hall near Apartment 2 and Apartment 3. We ask guests to leave the area tidy after play and use it considerately, as it is located in a shared corridor near the apartments.

Use of Apartments and Equipment

Kitchen, room, and bathroom equipment are intended for normal use during your stay. We ask guests to use them carefully and leave them in a reasonable condition.

We kindly ask guests to take off their shoes or change into indoor footwear in the apartments. This helps us maintain cleanliness, comfort, and a pleasant atmosphere throughout the accommodation.

Guest Responsibility

Guests are responsible for the furnishings and equipment of the apartments during their stay.

In case of property damage, please contact the accommodation owner. A reasonable compensation may be charged for damaged furnishings or equipment.

The accommodation is not responsible for guests' personal belongings left unattended.

Peaceful Environment and Location

The villa's surroundings are generally peaceful, but as Villa Frauenberg is located almost in the center of Banská Štiavnica, you may occasionally hear the gentle hustle and bustle of the town. This is a natural part of life in the historic part of Banská Štiavnica and contributes to its authentic atmosphere.

We ask guests to respect the peaceful character of the accommodation and its surroundings.

Health and Safety Protection

Guests are obliged to adhere to basic hygiene and safety principles.

If needed, we will be happy to provide information about local medical assistance, pharmacies, or emergency services.

In urgent situations, we recommend contacting emergency lines: 112, or 155 for medical assistance, 150 for firefighters, and 158 for the police.
